Get Salty
Panama City Beach, Florida is the stateside gathering place for college students on spring break. Thousands will flock to the sugary white sandy beaches to party day and night throughout the month of March.
Going to where lost people are is in Campus Crusade for Christ’s DNA. So in the midst of this party atmosphere is Big Break, a one-week mission experience that gathers students from colleges and universities from all over the country. Students spend the week growing in their walks with God, exploring biblical truths and learning how to talk to their friends about their faith. Each day, students hit the beach and share the gospel with other students.
Greg’s team created all the “Get Salty” (Matthew 5:13-16) theme graphics and materials for the four one-week events. Please pray that the love and truth of Jesus will be boldly proclaimed each week! In one day alone, students had 1,787 spiritual conversations and shared the gospel 542 times. Twenty-seven people placed their faith in Jesus!
This is the graphic look that is applied to all the conference materials, signage and video. In case you’re wondering, that’s a salt-shaker in the fish’s mouth!
Family Stuff
- Ethan’s extended EEG came back normal which means he is not experiencing absence seizures. This is good news, but we’re no less puzzled about what’s going on with our little guy. Please pray for continued wisdom and discernment for what the next steps should be.
- Greg was one of 22 people at Campus Crusade for Christ’s headquarters selected for a special one-year leadership development track. Please pray that he will be open, humble and ready for what God has for him on this journey!
Through your prayer and financial support, you are part of reaching middle school, high school and college students with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you for giving to the Lord through our ministry!

Father in heaven,
Praise be the name of the LORD. You are mighty to save. Thank you for the Wiedle family and their commitment to spreading the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ our LORD. Father open the hearts of the those that you are calling. I pray for every thought to be taken captive by the blood of the lamb and brought under the obedience of Christ Jesus.
Be with Ethan LORD, he is your little lamb, fill his little heart with peace and trust in You, leaning not on his understanding but acknowledging You in all his ways for You will make his paths straight. Use Ethan as an instrument in Your hands to bring glory unto Your name. Fill this family with peace, with joy and with celebration as they serve You and Your kingdom. To You O’Lord be the glory forever! Amen!
